Mt. Washington on fire! August 17, 2008 Amy and I were lying in bed enjoying the best lightening storm to roll over the house in years and I was just starting to nod off when she said, "FIRE!" Sure enough, a fire was burning near the summit of Mt. Washington. 911 already knew about it and the fire grew to 1,600 feet before being contained by fire crews in the morning. He chose... poorly August 7, 2008 A worthy adversary, he stole food from the traps and survived blistering heat in the locked up truck for three days while Amy and the kids were stuck at home.
