Welcome.
Moosefish.com is where we share pretty much everything that happens to us with pretty much anyone that wants to read about it. Sure, there's quite a bit that never makes it on the site, but most of the really important things (and a lot of not really important things) get posted.
Most of the posts are made by me. I'm John.
Amy will also write stories and post photos from time to time.
Clara, Lilly, and Henry are a tad too young to update the site. (Clara's actually getting close and helps take and caption pictures from time to time.)
Tokul just licked the screen.
The site is divided into two parts.
Moosefish News is everything. Adventures is just hikes and trips. We used to have sections for each and every one of us, but nobody bothered to visit those pages so it's just news and adventures.
There's an RSS feed if you're so inclined and a monthly email with links to all the stories. Both are based on the Moosefish News section. (Send a request to email@moosefish.com to subscribe.)
Each of us has our own gallery and we've produced some special sites as well. Pretty much everything can be found in the green navigation bar on the left. (You should be able to find it. You probably clicked it to get here.)
The only other thing you need to know is that everything here is ours and we're happy to let you read, view, and watch it. However, you can't use it for any other purpose without our express, written permission.
So feel free to look around. We're happy you're here.
Here's a few of those dang frequently asked questions and answers:
Where'd "moosefish" come from?
When we were getting married one of the designers at the Times put together our wedding invitations. He declared we needed a graphical "bug" that should reflect our interests. Amy loves moose and I'm big into fish. So there you go.
