It's the incredible six legged dog!
You'd look somewhat crazed, too, if you were being trailgated so closely.
We haven't been particularly lucky on Mt. Washington lately. Last year we suffered single digit temperatures and frozen apparel. TNAB didn't manage to summit the last time they tried either. (I was chilling at home with a screwed up foot.)
So it wasn't much of a surprise when we pulled up at the tarns/mud puddle and figured we'd had enough. The snow was pounding down and the Pour House was calling. We turned and retreated vowing to get at least as far as the Owl Spot next time.
This must be what it's like to get old.
