Winter started out slow. A hike in the snow here. A walk in the rain there. A snowshoe ----- WE INTERRUPT THIS SEASON OF ICE FOR THREE WEEKS IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC ----- adventure in the mountains.
It was a poor snow year. Even the usually guaranteed locations (like the slopes of Tahoma) suffered from rotten snow that lessened my usual fervor for adventuring. And then there was Tinkham.
Tinkham suffers from bestdayeveritis. Each and every day is the best day of her life. It didn't matter what the conditions were or where we were going. It was all good for Tink.
I wish I was more like Tink.
