Walking around the block
It's a lot nicer in the mountains.
We live in the mountains. The number one reason to we live here is because when there's enough light after work and it's not pouring rain we can go for a walk. And if you've seen these posts in the past you know that the reason I hike is because I got bored with walks around the block.
So it makes my day when my kids agree to go for a walk after work. And when they suggest we repeat the walk every night after I get home it makes me beyond happy.
This time was just another day on our home trail. It didn't start raining until we got down to the river and had a chance to throw a stick for Treen. Even then the rain wasn't hard enough to dampen our spirits. We even found some of the first trillium of the season on the way back.
We probably won't be able to get out every day after work, but we'll definitely try.
