You'd expect that if the gain was about half as much I should be able to fly up the hill and get back down with nary a quiver in my legs. Right?

Wrong.

All that snow I've been so looking forward to? It sure makes a simple trip like Mason Lake a lot harder. It took almost three hours to get to the lake from the freeway and although we had entertained the thought of going beyond we had services and turned around.

Still, it was awfully pretty and nice to do something other than Mailbox. Somehow I think we'll be back to normal next weekend, though.
