14 times I've climbed the mountain I swore I'd never climb a second time and then swore again I'd never climb a third time. Somehow, it was in the right place at the right time.
And Treen loved it. So much that she did it twice without me. (But that's only 15 times total because I did it once without her.)
We had great weather, lousy weather, spacey weather, and surprising weather. But mostly we had great company even if they were all faster than me. (My best time of this year was a full 10 minutes slower than last year's record.)
I was hoping to get a Mailbox each month of 2011, but I missed a couple. We'll give it a shot again this year, but I'd bet I miss it again. Instead, I'll probably really aim for a double.
