What do you mean it's not Mailbox? I thought that was the only place I hiked anymore. Where is this Teneriffe you speak of?
Turns out there are other mountains around. Who knew? And at least one of them is just across the river from Mailbox.
But before we get too excited, I did have to drive on... the freeway. DUH DUH DUH!
At least it was sloppy. Until it got icy.
At least my microspikes worked well enough to get me to the top. Until they broke on the way down landing me on my... er... well, you know.
Still. It was different enough to be a worthy diversion. Next up: Mailbox!
