Rain? Pft!
Gore-tex, oh, glorious Gore-tex.
Oh, relax. It's not that bad. This hobby is complementary to hiking. It's like geocaching, but without the GPS. It's like a scavenger hunt, but with stamps. It's like... well... like following instructions to find a hidden little box with a rubber stamp and a book.
You use your stamp to mark their book and their stamp to mark your book.
We decided to start easy and tackle a supposed letterbox on our home trail. The kids had no problem getting up to its location, but it's good I was there otherwise they wouldn't have been able to open the box.
In the year it's been in hiding it's only been found once before. I've walked by it no fewer than 19 times. 19 TIMES! And now we know it's there. But you don't.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
