This is not a road walk
Clara declared this was a lousy way to start a hike.
The threat of rain meant we weren't going very far or investing a lot in the effort. So we (I) picked a spot that we might be able to make, but most likely wouldn't. Clara, Henry, and I struck out, with the dogs of course, for Kamikazi Falls.
Clara declared the road walk wasn't so much fun and we weren't hiking because we weren't on a trail. Henry was happy to run and blow his whistle.
After seeing the trail that isn't a trail we turned for home and spent most of the walk running hand in hand in hand. Until Henry bit it. Then we walked a little more carefully. I guess we all learn at our own paces.
Total roadwalking goodness: 2.5 miles and 360 feet.
