No elk. No bears. Not even any rabbits. Just three kids on snowshoes walking around the block at lunchtime. The sun even came out.
The big adventure was to be had dumping snow on each other, reminding Lilly how to walk in snowshoes, and keeping up with Clara.
Both Henry and Clara were sporting their new 'shoes from the Romp to Stomp last year and both pairs worked well.
Clara and Lilly were suitably skilled that they'll probably get to go on a few more lengthy adventures this year. (Henry spent a bit too much time on shoulders to qualify for more than little trips.)
It was only a mile and... um... 30 feet. But a great way to spend my lunch hour while working from home. (Usually, I walk around Seattle. The company was way better.)
