Go Walkers! The morning stop was just a short one. The girls cheered, posed for pictures, and shouted themselves almost hoarse. Fortunately for walkers everywhere, their voices have recovered. We cheered non-3day walkers, bikers, and even the trees as we drove home.
Now we're setting up for the big event at Ben Franklin Elementary this afternoon starting at 12:30.
Amy reports all is going well while at the lunch stop at Juanita Beach.
Tomorrow will be the real test. After two days of constant thrill and little rest we have to negotiate the big city to get to Memorial Stadium for the closing ceremonies at 3:30. Wish us luck (or come join us).
