Clara gets her first hands-on experience while sitting on my lap in front of my PowerBook. The program? AlphaBaby for MacOS X. Every time she hits a key or clicks the mouse a new shape or letter is displayed and the name for it is spoken. Did she like it? Perhaps a little too much. She ripped the F key right off the keyboard! (Don't worry, it went right back on.)
