The plan was to adventure and post stories. We're 50% successful. Lots of adventuring. Not so much posting.
We started with a ton of snowshoeing. Local favorites in mixed conditions and a spectacular visit to Paradise with some amazing glissades. Note that just because we were "snowshoeing" doesn't always mean we actually had snowshoes on our feet.
Is that a big deal? No. Snowshoes are just another tool like trail runners, boots, or crampons. Do we go "cramponning?" No. Do I care if I carry crampons, but never use them? No. So we carried our snowshoes a lot.
We also competed in another adventure race. Winners we were not, but we had fun and only got a little lost. Don't worry. GPS straightened us out.
Our winter ended when we headed to Phoenix for a week of better weather and a completely different environment.
If I get lucky, I'll get those posted some time before summer starts.
