Lousy snow up high, but that means epic waterfall flow, right?

I remember, you!
I mean, it's not like we haven't been here multiple times before.
No big story, just another reminder that the Pacific Northwest is pretty darn impressive. Sure, it was raining in the mountains and melting our snow, but that meant the waterfalls were starting to spin up.
We followed the river until we found the super-secret side trail (no longer actually a secret) and climbed a few hundred feet to the tiny lake and the towering waterfall. There was one other visitor who had spent the night, but down at the water we were alone with sticks. We each had a role to play.
Dad: Stick thrower.
Dog: Stick retriever.
Boy: Turns sticks into medieval weaponry and practices Tae Kwon Do moves.
Our duties complete, we returned the way we came pausing only long enough to admire the trillium still early in their cycle.
📍On the lands of the Snoqualmie People.
