Not surprisingly, I went for a first day hike. It was cold and snowy and surprisingly blue skies? Whatever.

The only thing missing were the kids, but I had friends and dogs. See?

I'll grant you, those three dogs weren't particularly attentive, but then there's Odin who likes to make sure everyone in his pack keeps up. Even me.

So that's how the year started. It's already better than 2021. Sure, there's still the pandemic, but at least there's no nagging injury or surgery looming. It's gonna be a great year!
