It should be no surprise that we hike no matter the weather. I don't know why late fall would be any different. And after all this time, shouldn't we expect the snow to be sloppy, the routes hard, and success elusive?
Well, yeah. We should.
Two adventures served to remind us that late fall is a time for modest objectives. Heavy snow, closed trailheads, rain, and flooded trails said, "Not today."
At least some of the pictures are ok. And of course, Tink had a great time.
