June! Summer supposedly starts on the solstice on June 20, but anybody that's lived in the Northwest know's that's not true. Summer starts July 5. Except this year when it was 100F for three straight days! It has NEVER been that hot before.
And yet, I had multiple days adventuring in the snow and rain. Heck it actually snowed on us so we had freshiez!
I officially graduated from physical therapy, though I still have to do my exercises daily. I felt good enough to give blood (my 26th donation and 20th double red donation) and felt terrible on the trail for the few days afterward. (Still worth it.)
Best of all, I got to visit two of my favorite spots and that checked off two of my goals. I broke the 2,000 foot climbed barrier and could imagine doubling that in the next month or two. (4,000 feet is my "fully recovered" capability.)
I still have nerve pain at night and some pain while sitting more than half an hour, but it's all getting better. And just in time for summer.
