Electricity on Science Sunday. What could possibly go wrong?
Start with the standard rub-the-balloon-in-your-hair-and-stick-it-to-the-ceiling. Cool.
Next we have a pair of hanging balloons to demonstrate how they repel each other. Both Lilly and Clara figured out the matching charge issue just like magnets.
Then we bent water with a charged balloon. Sweet.
The highlight of the day was playing with a metric ton of tissue paper torn into tiny little pieces. The balloons were no match for the kids. Paper was everywhere.
The grand finale was lighting a lightbulb with a balloon. Needless to say, we had a great time in the garage. In the dark.
