Tokul got an extended swim at her pool upstream from the house as well as special treats for her ninth birthday. (Treats = anything from their picnic dinner that Clara and Henry decided they didn't want.) Tokul bounced around like a puppy a third her age and had a great time on the trail. (We'll see if that enthusiasm lasts when she tries for a repeat trip up Mailbox Peak next week.)
