Well, that's the way it should have happened for a good story.
In truth we saw the first moose after about an hour and a half of driving slowly along the highway.
That moose we photographed from the truck, but it was too far away and too obscured to make a good tour. Plus we didn't see any moose sign since it had come toward the road from the woods.
Nature never plays nice.
Amy saw this moose from the road as well, but we did get to walk closer to it and that, at least, was cool.
